I’m still on my “vacation,” so I have free time to work on a few projects that have been sitting on the back burner in my brain for a while. One of those was narrating the Legend of Shadowbane. I haven’t talked to Sam (the loremaster at Wolfpack), who I think would do an amazing… Read More: The Legend of Shadowbane (Testing Narration) »
Yes, I know; I haven’t updated anything on my ‘blahg’ in ages. The short version is I’m still alive, still working, and still love games—more updates Soon™ (yes, we all know what the trademarked ‘Soon’ means). I was watching a video by one of the content creators I keep up with, Redbeardflynn, entitled “What will… Read More: A glimpse of Shadowbane on Redbeardflynn’s “What will the Future… »
Has it really been 20 years?! Apparently, it has. Back on March 25, 2003, we launched Shadowbane. For many, Shadowbane has a lot of great game memories. And, yes, some terrible ones, too! I mean, who remembers how sb.exe was a meme before memes were cool? Or when someone used GM commands to teleport players… Read More: Shadowbane launched two decades ago! »
It’s Throwback Thursday, so I figured this is as good a time as any to talk about some Shadowbane lore. A few weeks ago, one of the Shadowbane Reforged Discord community members was asking about some Shadowbane lore. I had some of the basic stuff on my website already. But, I am one of those… Read More: The Library of Aerynth & Shadowbane Reforged »
It’s coming close to a month now since Amazon Games’ New World has been released, and I have put roughly 30 hours into the game (although I’m unsure if that counts queueing time or not, to be honest). To give a bit of context, I’ve not even gotten into “end game” yet; I have two… Read More: Taking an expedition into the New World »
If you’re simply here for the Meekskin download or how to “fix” the profanity filter, just click those anchors or scroll down to see the header names. You can grab my updated Minimal Skin, as well. A year ago, I wouldn’t have even imagined myself writing an update like this. But, as we all know… Read More: Shadowbane: Play 2 Crush. Again? »
I’m not actually sure where it started, but I noticed the “I grew up here” trend after seeing @Mightykeef‘s tweet about it. I’m not really sure where it started but it did make me go Hmmm. Honestly, I would like to put Shadowbane as where I grew up, and maybe I’ll do something about that… Read More: I grew up here: Ultima Online »
I was perusing my Facebook groups today and I’m still a member of the old Shadowbane players group. And what do I see? A post about Shadowbane launching. No, not an emulator server. The actual product. And, sure enough, if you go to www.shadowbane.com, you see there is a new website. With a countdown timer.… Read More: The (re)launch of Shadowbane? »
TL;DR – In case you do not want to read my excessively long ramble, go check out the Crowfall Kickstarter. If you’re reading this shortly after I published it, there is less than 24 hours left in the Kickstarter Campaign for the upcoming MMO entitled Crowfall by ArtCraft Entertainment. They have, by far, exceeded the… Read More: I backed Crowfall… but have you? »
So, I’ve been terrible with keeping this site up to date or even getting it into working order initially. Due to some of the fun I’ve been having participating in the Crowfall community, though, it’s forced me to start adding some of the old Shadowbane stuff I have. Which is why you will see a… Read More: Shadowbane Lore »
